Nick Battista before, during and after World War II.
Nick Battista was an accomplished career musician and teacher at a very young age, in Montreal. He composed The Last Parade for Victory while entertaining the troops during WWII, in 1943, as an Army Private and accordionist with the Forage caps entertainment unit. Resurrected from Battista's archives, this wonderful march is performed for us, for the first time since the end of the war by legendary Montreal accordionist Gino Sauro.
